While it helps to have a general idea of what you’re looking for, like winter coats, home décor, or books also be open minded.

If we go late, you can guarantee, someone is hold a bargain you would have liked!!

Some of the best finds are things you didn’t know you needed until you spotted them on the rack.

Also, stock changes constantly in charity shops, but certain days can be better than others.

Many shops restock in the morning or after busy donation days, like weekends.

Chatting with staff can give you insider knowledge on when new items usually hit the floor.

While part of the fun is the unexpected finds, having a list of desired items can help keep you focused.

I wanted a navy polka dot dress once and ended up with 2 as my mum got one but it didn’t fit her!!
