A few weeks ago I was introduced to a competition by Cheeky Shoes. A new company selling fun shoes that fit through your letterbox!! 

I love competitions and thought they sounded cool so entered hoping to win a pair. I didn’t win any of the shoes, though!! (Argg).

But if you’re curious about whether Cheeky Shoes live up to the hype or want to know if their letterbox-friendly promise really works you’re in the right place.

It was a pleasant surprise then, when a few weeks later I got the chance to pick a pair to review for my blog.

I am also a huge fan of bright colours and of course I love my shoes so I was excited to try some out. The only problem is, I love all the colours?!! So which one? Decisions. Decisions.

Their playful colours and modern design, they’re as fun to wear as they are convenient to receive.

Electric Blue, Luscious Lemon, Sparkling Orange, Sumptuous Cerise, Tomtastic Red or Zesty Green are the 6 fabulous colours to choose from.

After imagining my outfits and which colour I would wear the most. I chose Tomtastic red. RED who knew?!! I do love red.

After making my choice I eagerly awaited for Mr Postie to arrive, will he deliver them through the letterbox or knock or leave a note to pick up from the collection centre?

Time will tell.

My shoes arrive a day after I placed my order straight through the letterbox just as stated. In a nice padded envelope too.

As a busy mum of 4 there are never enough hours in the day, school run, shopping, gym, blogging, so waiting in for deliveries is not on my daily planner. 

The good old fashioned postie still have their uses!! No junk mail, no bill, an actual pair of shoes!! WOW whatever next?!!

My Thoughts On The Cheeky Shoes.

They felt like slippers with a soft stretchy material top and hard wearing sole. You can see your big toe in the top of the shoe and the material springs back into shape when you remove your feet.

To put the shoes through their paces I wore them all afternoon on a shopping trip with my children.

After a long walk to the train station, a few hours around Nottingham shopping and a walk back from the train station I was amazed how comfy they felt.

With no rubbing or blisters like I usually get with other flat shoes. Result.

My Daughter loved the shoes and kept standing on my toes, hinting “I want some mum please” haha… “Ask Daddy” I tell her!! Priced at £19.99 each he will definitely treat her to some.

I love these shoes, they are so soft bright and very comfortable and I would go for a pair again. Very soon Cheeky Shoes are bringing out lots of new designs with some amazing patterns.

As I am a big fan of polka dots I cant wait to see how these look.

It will also be interesting to see the flowered styles and gingham ones. Check their site to see these new designs.

Not only has their website had a complete makeover, (which by the way looks great!). So has the packaging, logo and the shoes. 

They now manufacture exclusively in England, supporting the local community, making their products a more ethical choice for us!

After wearing the original shoes out, I now have a new pair to try out. 

I cannot think of a day that went by during the summer months that I did not wear the originals.

They were perfect for the school run, going on holiday, long shopping days and I have even wore them on nights out.

 I was thrilled then to be asked to review a pair of the new style Cheeky shoes.
