Thick And Creamy Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Thick And Creamy Blueberry Smoothie Recipe.

A thick and creamy blueberry smoothie is a simple, delicious way to enjoy a refreshing, nutrient-rich drink any time of day.

Start with fresh or frozen blueberries, which give the smoothie its vibrant colour and naturally sweet flavour while bananas help create that thick texture.

Adding a frozen banana is great for extra creaminess and subtle sweetness.

Pour in about 100ml of milk, dairy, almond, oat, or coconut all work well depending on your preference.

For added richness and protein, include a quarter cup of Greek yogurt.

If you like a sweeter smoothie, drizzle in a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup, though the fruit often provides enough sweetness on its own.

Blend everything until smooth and creamy. If the mixture feels too thick, add a splash more milk; if too thin, toss in a few extra frozen berries or ice cubes. What is not to love?

Thick And Creamy Blueberry Smoothie Recipe.

My 2 eldest sons popped over from Uni, this weekend for Mother’s Day. It has been so lovely seeing then but I am also sad I’ve not had chance to spend quality time with them.

On Friday I became really ill. I have a really bad fever. Shaking, achy bones, pains in the head, sore throat and runny nose. Typical!!

I hate being ill, off to bed now and hopefully I will be better tomorrow as it has been 3 days now.

My husband brought me lots of fruit yesterday to help me get my vitamins in. I love making smoothies, especially ones with bananas in it.

Maybe as you've been ill you could get a do over in a few weeks?
